NY Wedding - Sneak Peek
I was very very fortunate to photograph a wedding in one of my favorite cities of the world, New York!

After breakfast, my brother and I walked to his work at Fuse. The morning light in NYC was beautiful.

Eating is one of my main activities everytime I travel. So as soon as I arrived to NY, my brother took me to Guy & Gallard for breakfast before visiting his work nearby.

I had a Mocha and an Egg & Cheese Burrito.

I flew to NY this past weekend to photograph a wedding. I was so excited because I HEART NY! And, of course, I flew with Virgin America. This is my first time flying red-eye and the experience was pleasent. Their seat was comfy and I was listening to Tony Bennett as I flew across the county in my sleep.
*I don't know if this happens to you, but I could NEVER catch up with the flight attendent's safety instruction. For the first time in my life, thanks to Virgin America's short animated safety film, I FINALLY know how to operate the life vest!!*

*Love the ambient lights.*

*Saying bye-bye to Los Angeles! Isn't it a beautiful city?*

Venise insisted in wearing her Chinese traditional dress because we were visiting the new Chinese Garden at the Huntington Library in Pasadena (she thinks the Disney princess, Mulan, lives there). It was a hot day, but we had a lot of fun. The best is seeing her running around and laughing.
Lacie is Jose Villa's assistant, which also is a photographer herself. I'm so glad I got to meet her because I've seen so many photos of her and she is just gorgeous.
It was difficult for me to choose what to post because she looks great in all of them, but here are the few!
Make-up was done by Mar with T.E.A.M Hair and Make Up. I think she did a beautiful job for both models!
I've been struggling with back light, so Jose took the time to teach me some tricks. I'm so excited that I got some great shots!
Here's Nikki with beautiful bouquet designed by Renae's Bouquet.
Here are some random photos from the place Jose took us to for the photo shoot. I love the feel of the place, it was beautiful!
hm... I am still speechless about the whole experience. What should I write?
I am just so glad that I made it to Jose Villa's workshop this past Monday after many obstacles, including receiving a phone call from one of my best friends about her mother's death as I was looking for the meeting location.
Jose is such a wonderful person. He is so easy going that I felt so comfortable talking to him and asking him questions.
I highly recommend his workshop, it was totally worth it. I learned some new tricks and I met some awesome photogs. I'll be posting some photos from the day, let me know if you see any improvement.
Here are some behind-the-scene photos.
