Since I decided to become a professional photographer last year, I've had the fortune to meet so many wonderful people in the wedding industry.  I am... very thankful of their kindness and friendships day in and day out because I wouldn't get this far without their help. 

This morning when I saw the feature from the beautifully done e-zine, Utterly Engaged, I felt utterly thankful; it's an out-of-this-world feeling.  When I post these type of feature is not about popularity or showing off.  To me, knowing that my work means something to others matters more to me and I am very honored.

The Impossible Dream

I feel very fortunate to get to know Carrie; she's a talented photographer, as well as a wonderful friend that anyone could've asked for.  Oh yes, most importantly, she loves eating good food like me!

Few days ago, I met up with Carrie and her two princes for some portraits.  I had so much joy watching Finn and Harrison interact, they are too cute!

My blog has been too quiet these days, I apologize!  It's been hectic professionally and personally.  However, I am very happy to finally get to blog this e-session! 

Michelle and Jeff picked two of the most stylish hotels in Santa Monica (lucky me!); Viceroy and Huntley.  I had such a fun time photographing this couple, Michelle's smiles will melt you.

Back in late May I was very fortunate to be invited to shoot a wedding in Kona-Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii.  Let me say that I am officially hooked because of the gorgeous lighting there, even in the middle of the day!  The wedding was held at the Four Seasons Resort, such a beautiful place.  If you want a Hawaii wedding, that's the place to go.  *Special thanks to Jennifer Gillis, the coordinator, for running everything smoothly!*

The wedding day started off with the girls getting ready at the hotel spa.

Then I met up with the guys for some group portraits.  These guys were a lot of fun, I didn't stop laughing throughout the shoot!

Brenda's gown was perfect for this Hawaii wedding - light and flowy.

Ceremony was held by the beach.  Weather was perfect with the sound of ocean waves on the background, it's definitely a different experience.

Sharing some personal photos from my Hawaii trip while shooting a wedding.  The light in Hawaii is so soft, even during the afternoon; that's probably one of the things I remember the most from this trip.
