When I first heard the news that Getty Images is joining forces with Flickr to find photographers as contributors I didn't think much of it. With hundreds of amazing photographers on Flickr, my chance would be 0.00001%. But to my surprise I have been picked as one of the contributors! Whoa! So never say never!

I am guessing most of you know what this is, but I thought it'd be fun to let my clients know a little bit about me.  :D

01. I am bad at talking about myself, but then I feel like I am always talking about myself.

02. I get bored at things fairly fast... Ok, VERY fast.

03. I miss sleeping 10 hours straight without interruptions.

04. I wish I never quit ballet.

05. I have more teeth than normal ppl. Most of my teeth are baby teeth and my adult teeth are still growing.

06. I don't like ppl that are selfish, self centered, rude and taking advantage of others.

07. I am annoyed when ppl take advantage of me when I am nice, but call me a b*tch when I stand up for myself.

08. I seriously wish that math doesn't exist.

09. I don't get contemporary art. Art shouldn't be so complicated, right?

10. I am not a sporty person. I got hit by a baseball, basketball and volleyball throughout my four years of high school.

11. I never liked school. I am much better at learning things from books and on my own.

12. I love reading quotes. www.thinkexist.com is where I go whenever I am feeling down.

13. Gosh, this is tougher than I thought!!

14. I won't start anything unless I can imagine the end result.

15. Prague, Prague, Prague!

16. I started out as a website designer and my employer was Alyssa Milano and her mom.

17. I love vintage stuff, but I am afraid they'd attach with spirits. Yes, I watched a lot of ghost movies.

18. Most of my favorite films are foreign.

19. I don't like my tummy fat, but mostly don't like myself for not exercising.

20. I give ppl the impression that I am quiet and shy, but mainly because I tend to think too much before I speak. By the time I finish thinking, I don't feel like speaking it out anymore.

21. I like to be in my car because that's my little world.

22. I love road trips.

23. I don't follow current events and I don't want to know anything about any war in anywhere.

24. I like to play with my scalp a lot during winter.

25. I don't allow myself to watch any horror film, any war film, or anything depressing because I get effected so easily.

My wedding season doesn't start til next month, so when Jason Q Tran asked if I have time to assist I just jumped to the chance.  I've admired his work for quite a while and I have to admit I was a bit "star struck" when I met him in person.

I took a day off today, so I got into the car with my camera and drove down 10 East. I had no idea where I was headed to until I spotted the exit, Orange. What I discovered was a peaceful little town filled with old school architectures and antique shops. LOVE! Took me a while to find out where I was - Redlands!

Last week, during a rainy night, I spent a wonderful time with my dear friend, Anna.  We were at The Glass House enjoying two wonderful live performances by Lykke Li and Wildbirds & Peacedrums, both came from Sweden. 

Mariam Wallentin from Wildbird and Peacedrums reminds me of Feist.

At the last minute I decided to stay home instead of going to Vegas for WPPI. V has been missing me a lot lately, which got me thinking... I started pursuing photography professionally hoping to provide a better life for her, but now the career seems to be taking me away from her.

I couldn't remember the last time I took her out or spent alone time with her, so I took her to the park and let her stretch her muscles a bit (not like she needs it. I do, actually).

Her pose lasted for a second. She was running around, I said, "wait!" and she gave me a quick pose and moved on. Sigh... I love her!

P.S.: Apologize to some of my photog friends, which I was supposed to hang out with! Next year, hopefully!

Spent the Saturday morning at Starbucks while waiting for my car getting maintenance.

I love buying books, but I am not a reader. I have very little patience reading through everything (my eyes like to wander somewhere else), but this book really kept my interest!

I love reading her views on photography and her many subjects. Nowadays, digital equipments have made photography more approachable, but at the same time the true meaning of photography seems to have lost. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about photography, but don't expect techniques and tons of eye-candy photos, this is not that type of books.

Note: At the background is a cup of Pike Place (my current fave) and a half eaten turkey sandwich with pesto sauce and dried cranberries. YUM!

To challenge myself, I shot this WHOLE entire wedding with only one lens - my best friend 50mm 1.4.  When you work with what you have, you'll realize that the possibility can be endless too! 

The cake looks delish.  I'm going to start asking my brides for a slice of cake to add to my meal.  :P
