Bash, Please (Kelly and Paige) recently styled a cute photoshoot for Martha Stewart's wedding blog and I was fortunate to photograph it. Special thanks to the cutest models (my little Miss V too!), Jaime from Prudent Baby for creating the headpieces and bowtie, and Danielle from Bittersweet for the yumminess. Read full post here.

Thank you, Daily Candy, for the feature in Planning a Wedding in LA Spring 2010! Even happier that some of my fabulous friends - Amber, Kelly, Megan and Paige - are included.

I'm teaming up with Summer from Grey Likes Weddings, who's also an amazing stylist, to turn a Snippet & Ink inspiration boards into a shoot! We have selected 12 of our favorites, and we need your help to choose one that you'd like to see fashioned into a photo shoot. For all the details and to vote, see here.
In addition to needing your vote, we're also calling all vendors who might be interested in partnering with Summer and I to bring this shoot to life. If you are interested, please contact Summer at greylikesweddings{at}gmail{dot}com.
I'm joining forces with some of my photog friends to help raise money for Haiti. We're auctioning off our prints, see details here.

I am now on formspring.Me, a place where you can ask me anything and I'll see if I can answer them for you. Have fun browsing through my past Q&A too!

One of my dear friends, Kate Holt of Flowerwild Designs, will be hosting a 2-day workshop in Santa Barbara on March 10th and 11th of 2010. Not only will you get to learn from one of the best floral designers in the industry, you'll also get to work with some amazing vendors! AND I'll be there to document the event and your work! So don't wait, register here!

Back in January of 2008, I made the decision to enter the world of wedding photography. I didn't expect anything out of it, my main focus was to make an extra income on top of my regular day job to provide for my little girl. Fast forward to now, I've gotten a lot more out of this path I've chosen. The past two years was truly an amazing experience - the opportunities, the support, the encouragments, the friendships...
When I first started in the industry, I knew about this blog called "Southern Weddings." It featured some of the most beautiful weddings and amazing photography, so I knew they have high standards of what to blog. At the same time, I am also very critical of my own work, so I waited patiently to have something "worthy" to send them. Until recently, I got to photograph Caroline + Michael's wedding in New York. Both Caroline and Michael gave me large amount of creative space and I was able to capture their wedding the way I wanted - realistically, artistically and editorially. Thankfully, a wonderful friend, Carrie, encouraged and urged me to submit photos to Southern Weddings magazine. Next thing I knew, Lara Casey (the editor) tweeted about the wedding AND I was told that one of my images would be featured in the magazine!
So there, anything IS possible! There might be times when you don't believe in yourself or you might even lose hope, but never ever give up.
Thank you, Southern Weddings Magazine!

Excuse my lack of blog posts lately, life was put on a roller coaster ever since this last blog post. Fortunately, I have a wonderful family and group of friends to help me through; otherwise, I'd be so lost. So I want to take this chance to say 'Thank You' to all of you whom took the time to call or email me, let me blah, blah. blah non-stop. I also want to thank my amazing clients that have been so understanding and be patient with me. Love you all!
I have too many things to blog and I am too eager to show everyone all of the shoots I've done in the past few months, so I decided to do some "sneak previews." Enjoy!
The wedding was held at this cute chapel in Richmond, Canada. The lighting was gorgeous that day, which usually get me really excited!

Jonathan Canlas... How should I describe him? He's telented with insanely amount of energy. I'll save the details of the workshop when I do a full blog post, but for now just take my word for it and sign up for one of his workshops. You can thank me afterward. ;)

A small, intimate elopement wedding was held at Crescent Bay Point Park in Laguna Beach.

Isn't she the cutest?! Children portraits are always a lot of fun because I get to play too.

Pamper your mind, body and soul with Avec Cinta, which was featured in Daily Candy.

Stay tuned for complete blog posts for each wedding and portrait session...
I cannot thank everyone enough (it's never enough!) for featuring my work. It is such an amazing honor! THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart.
